NameChanger - Rename a list of files quickly and easily.

NameChanger is designed for the sole purpose of renaming a list of files. And its doing its job pretty well. You can replace characters, add numbers or strings even use regexp and access the exif data of images.

Add the files through the GUI or drag and drop files directly onto the App. These original filenames show up in the Original Filename column. Grayed out rows indicate files that you do not have permissions to change.

Disco - Mac Disc Burning, now for free

Disco is a powerful burning suite for Mac OS X. Sadly the developer seems to be out of business so they made Disco available for free (nice move guys!).

On my MacBook it's crashing each start, could be related to Lion or the fact that i removed my SuperDrive.

Hands Off! - New version works with Lion

Hands Off! is an personal firewall for Mac OS X which monitors network access (inbound and outbound) as well as file access. It helps you to monitor normally unnoticeable  access of applications to your network and disks and allow/disallow those based on your rules.

Version 1.3.2, without stating it on the update log, seems to add full Lion Compatibility.

Lion Gold Master - Build 11A511

I made a lil break from blogging last week, so this might be bit late but nonetheless:
Apple released the Gold Master of Mac OS X Lion Build 11A511. I see no visual changes and since i had no stability issues with DP4 i guess its just a polished DP4.
