A little addition in Mac OS X Lion that no one spotted so far, correct me if i am wrong.
You can reveal special characters in any input field by pressing and holding down different keys on your keyboard.
For example if you hold the "a" key.
or the "u" key.
This works in every application and is pretty handy in case you need to access characters that are not available on your keyboard.

That's actually a very, very useful feature. On Windows, memorising the method of inputting special characters is a pain.
