Wiiji is the perfect joystick solution for Wii remotes on Mac. Since i bricked my wii last year i had 2 spare Wiimotes around which where pretty useless to me. Until if found Wiiji.
With Wiiji, your Wii remotes will appear as ordinary joysticks to any application that supports joystick input. If your favorite game doesn't support joysticks, Wiiji can emulate keyboard input, too. I use it to play different emulators and it works just perfect and gives a round of Super Mario Bros 3 just the right feeling.
Setup is quite easy: install, extract drop to your applications folder and run it.

Interesting. I had no idea that you could use a Wii controller on anything but a Wii. Thanks for the post!
I have a great idea. MacMini with Plex as a mediacenter and a WiiMote as controller! Gotta start saving up my money, I guess. :D

great post. following you
Great stuff, if you have those kind of remotes lying around, its better than to let them gather dust.
I wish I had a wii D:
wow awesome, can you use the wiimote as a mouse too?
Yeah, I've done some crazy shit to the Wiimote in the past. 2 great PC alternatives are Xpadder and GlovePIE.
never thought of it like that
There has to be something like this for WIndows. I have a wiimote but no wii.
that's quite a good alternative to the keyboard and mouse
Very cool device.
